Veterinary Technician Embrace Animal Hospital
  • Middlebury, CT Part-Time (25-35 hours/week) About Us At Embrace Animal Hospital, we care deeply about the medicine we practice, the clients we serve, and the team we build.

The Role We're looking to add a Veterinary Technician to our team for a part-time position (25-35 hours per week). This role is a great fit for someone reliable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in their work. If you're someone who likes to stay busy, learn, and be part of a team that values doing things well, not just quickly, you'll fit in here. Schedule 25-35 hours per week (Weekday shifts 8:00 AM
  • 1:00 PM and 12:30 pm
  • 5:30 pm) Two Saturdays per month required Saturday hours: 8:00 AM
  • 12:30 PM What You'll Be Doing Helping doctors with exams, treatments, and procedures Properly restraining patients and keeping them comfortable Running lab work (blood, fecal, urine, etc.
) Taking radiographs Giving medications and vaccines as directed Talking with clients and helping them understand care plans Keeping records accurate and up to date Pitching in wherever needed to keep the hospital running smoothly What We're Looking For Experience as a veterinary technician is preferred (licensed is a plus, but not required) Someone who shows up ready to work and takes ownership of their role Strong communication skills and a calm, professional presence with clients Ability to stay organized and focused in a busy environment A team player who others can rely on
