New Haven, CT Temporary $25.00 - $25.00/hr Onsite Job Description
Position Overview An opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Animal Lab Tech to join a dynamic team in New Haven Connecticut. This role involves handling and maintaining the cleanliness of animal cages, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly, and supporting the research faculty and staff by providing clean supplies and equipment. The position requires a keen eye for detail and a passion for maintaining high standards in laboratory environments. Responsibilities
Empty animal cages and process equipment on either clean or dirty side and/or specific washing center. Detect and report malfunctioning and/or defective equipment.
Fill clean cages with measured amounts of animal food and bedding.
Process equipment through rack washer and autoclave.
Fill water bottles.
Sanitize floors and walls.
Launder personal protection clothing.
Provide clean supplies and equipment to research faculty and staff using animal facilities.
Required Work Hours Work Hours:
Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM - 2:30
PM Salary Hourly Pay:
