This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized hospital environment while providing daily care and support for our equine patients. The ideal candidate is comfortable working around horses, takes pride in maintaining a clean facility, and can work independently while following veterinary instructions and hospital protocols. Schedule (can be divided):

Monday-Sunday:

6am to 9am and 4pm to 7pm Responsibilities Hand-walk hospitalized horses as directed by the veterinary team Feed and water horses according to individual patient instructions Clean and maintain stalls, aisles and treatment areas Restock hay, grain, bedding/shavings, and other hospital supplies Drag and maintain the arena Maintain an organized and safe work environment Follow all hospital safety procedures and patient-care protocols Perform other stable and hospital duties as needed Qualifications Previous horse-handling and equine experience required Comfortable handling horses of varying temperaments and sizes Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks Must be comfortable with physically demanding work, including lifting at least 50 lbs.
