Animal Wellness Center of Bonita is a well-established, privately owned small animal practice serving the Bonita Springs community since 2010. The ideal candidate is:
Experienced in anesthesia and surgical procedures Confident with patient monitoring and recovery Detail-oriented and dependable Organized and able to work efficiently in a busy environment A positive team player with a strong work ethic Comfortable communicating with clients and providing patient-care education Committed to maintaining high standards of patient safety and care Responsibilities Perform anesthetic induction and intubation Calculate and administer anesthetic medications Monitor patients throughout anesthesia and recovery Monitor and record vital signs and anesthetic parameters Assist with surgical procedures and maintain aseptic technique Place IV catheters and perform venipuncture Perform laboratory and diagnostic testing Prepare patients and equipment for surgery Oversee patient recovery and ensure appropriate post-operative care Maintain sterilization, surgical, and cleaning protocols Obtain thorough and accurate medical records Educate clients regarding medications, treatments, and home care Utilize veterinary software and technology efficiently Work collaboratively with veterinarians and other team members to provide excellent patient care Join Our Team If you are an experienced Veterinary Technician who takes pride in your work, enjoys surgery and anesthesia, and wants to be part of a team that recognizes the important role technicians play in excellent veterinary medicine, we want to hear from you.
