Job Description
Are you an experienced Veterinary Technician in search of a position with a private practice that takes pride in practicing high-quality medicine? Do you want to finally find a positive, family oriented team you can enjoy working with day in and day out? If so, this is the opportunity for you! We are looking for someone experienced in a fast-paced Veterinary Hospital that can perform the following, but not limited to: Working independently on daily tasks, assistance in surgery, obtaining pet history in exam rooms, vaccine knowledge, assist doctors in restraint and preparing prescriptions along with lab work, client education for different preventives, protocols and estimates. As well as working independently on charting conversations and history, placing I.V. catheters, drawing blood samples, obtaining different samples for cytologies and being able to perform them (i.e. ear cytology, fecals, U/A, etc.) We would prefer someone with at least 2 years experience, but we are flexible and willing to train.
