This vital role serves as the primary point of contact for pet owners, ensuring clear communication and exceptional client service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal care and veterinary terminology, with a passion for providing outstanding pet and client support. The Client Liaison will facilitate client communication and providing regular medical updates; reviewing financial documentation; and, when necessary, assisting ICU nurses with direct one-on-one patient care. The Client Liaison works in close collaboration with the Doctors within the ICU, as well as ICU and Triage nursing personnel. Responsibilities Provide and facilitate all client phone calls and updates. Address and resolve incoming client phone calls & questions in a professional and timely manner. Schedule discharges and coordinate owner visits. Facilitate the timely delivery of diagnostic results to clients. Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Educate clients on pet health topics using veterinary terminology and best practices in animal husbandry Maintain the Outbound Lab Book and track pending lab results. Complete daily client callback list and document all communications in Instinct. Experience Prior experience in veterinary clinics is required Knowledge of veterinary critical care procedures and laboratory experience is advantageous Familiarity with dog handling and animal restraint techniques Background in animal anatomy, aseptic technique, and veterinary terminology will enhance performance in this role Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining compassionate communication with clients and animals This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment dedicated to animal health and well-being.
