``` Job Overview ``` We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our animal patients. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment, where you will have the chance to make a difference in the lives of animals and their owners. ``` Duties ```
  • Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals
  • Perform diagnostic procedures, including X-rays and laboratory tests
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
  • Monitor patients during surgeries and recovery
  • Provide post-operative care and follow-up instructions to pet owners
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
  • Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment plans
  • Assist with grooming services, such as bathing and nail trimming
  • Handle animal restraint during examinations and procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the veterinary clinic ``` Qualifications ```
  • Experience of 3 years or more working in small animal clinic.
  • Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) preferred
  • Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal physiology, and veterinary critical care
  • Experience working with small animals
  • Proficient in animal restraint techniques for safe handling during procedures
  • Familiarity with kennel operations and dog training methods is beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate pet owners effectively
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Experience placing IVC and administering IV medications and fluids
