Technician Duties include, but are not limited to: Assist veterinarians with examinations and treatments Safely restrain animals during exams and procedures Perform laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging Administer medications and vaccines as directed by the veterinarian Educate clients on pet care, medications, and treatment plans Maintain accurate medical records using Avimark Maintain a clean, organized treatment and surgical area Must be able to work in a fast-paced team setting
Requirements:
High School Diploma/ GED 2 years' experience as a Veterinary Technician (REQUIRED) Experience with Avimark preferred Reliable transportation to and from work Capable of lifting up to 50lbs Must be able to work rotating weekends Sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
