Job Description

Sunshine Veterinary Hospital is a privately owned, state-of-the-art veterinary clinic located in beautiful Jupiter, FL. For the past six years, we've proudly served our community by providing high-quality, personalized care for pets and their families. As a full-service general practice, we offer everything from wellness exams and routine surgeries to advanced dental procedures and in-depth medical diagnostics. We also work with a board certified surgeon for more advances cases and a mobile imaging team for ultrasounds or CTs. We utilize the local referral clinics for cases that need specialty care such as dermatology, internal medicine, emergency/critical care, etc. Our facility is fully equipped with the latest technology, including in-house laboratory analyzers, full body and dental radiography, electronic medical records, a well-stocked in-house pharmacy, and access to a trusted reference lab. We're also proud to support several top-tier rescue organizations, providing compassionate care to animals in need—often with inspiring, feel-good stories that remind us why we love what we do. As a small, tight-knit team, we believe in building long-term relationships with our clients and treating every pet like family. We tailor our clientele to provide the same level of care for their pets and to have a mutually respectful relationship. We are seeking a motivated, dependable Veterinary Technician who brings both skill and heart to their work. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, is passionate about veterinary medicine, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
What We're Looking For:
A team player who takes initiative and shows enthusiasm for the job Someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and dependable Excellent communication and client service skills Prior veterinary technician experience required (CVT/RVT/LVT not required but a plus) Willingness to assist with a wide range of tasks, from patient care to client education
Responsibilities Include:
Assisting with exams, surgeries, and dental procedures Performing blood draws, placing IV catheters, administering medications Monitoring anesthesia and post-operative recovery Maintaining accurate medical records Providing compassionate care to both pets and their people If you're looking to grow in a supportive, caring environment and be part of a practice that truly makes a difference, we'd love to meet you.
