Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to veterinarians in delivering high-quality care to animals. Your expertise in animal handling and care will contribute significantly to the well-being of our patients, ensuring they receive the best possible treatment in a safe and nurturing environment. Duties As a Veterinary Technician, your responsibilities will include: Assisting veterinarians during examinations and procedures Performing diagnostic tests and laboratory work, including blood draws Administering medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian Maintaining accurate medical records for each patient Monitoring animal patients during surgery and recovery, ensuring their comfort and safety Providing education to pet owners on proper animal care and health maintenance Ensuring cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including kennel areas and surgical suites Utilizing aseptic techniques during procedures to prevent infection Experience The ideal candidate will possess: Proficiency in Fear Free and animal restraint techniques Strong knowledge of animal anatomy and physiology Experience in animal care within a veterinary facility Ability to place IV catheters for surgical procedures Efficient in collecting blood samples for diagnostics A passion for working with animals and providing exceptional care Join us in making a difference in the lives of animals and their owners by applying your skills as a Veterinary Technician.
