Job Description

Seeking a full-time veterinary technician for a single doctor practice.
Experience Required Duties May Include:
Client communication/education, patient handling/restraint, ability to lift large dogs (up to 50 lb) with assistance, basic computer skills including typing and ability to train on the hospital's software, caring for hospitalized patients, and various other tasks to assist the veterinarian. Veterinary candidates should also possess the following skills:
  • IV catheter placement on pets
  • Drawing blood from multiple sites on a patient
  • Comfortable safely handling dogs and cats
  • Performing digital radiographs on pets
  • Anesthesia monitoring of pets during surgical procedures

Speak English, accountable, responsible, respectful, self-motivated, energetic, eager to learn, reliable, team player, friendly, pays close attention to detail, shows integrity, experience with answering phones, basic computer knowledge, and possesses excellent work ethic.
Hours:
Our office is open from 8:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday. A schedule would be determined at a later time. Must have a flexible schedule with availability to work weekends and holidays.
