• Full-time We are looking for a friendly and outgoing veterinary technician to join our day practice.

This job will include but not be limited to: Patient care, restraint (in exam rooms and treatment/surgery), collecting a detailed history on patients, filling medications, greeting clients and their pets, educating clients on our protocols and products, cash/credit card transactions, scheduling appointments, assisting with x-rays, catheter placement, blood draws, and taking radiographs. We are a team oriented hospital and all positions within the hospital are required to help each other. We are a locally owned private hospital that strives to offer excellent customer service and patient care. Qualifications Veterinary technician experience preferred Proficient in animal handling and restraint techniques Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal physiology Experience with animal catheterization and pet care Familiarity with dental terminology and animal husbandry Ability to perform X-Ray procedures and handle laboratory tasks
