We want you to join our growing team at Ferry Pass Animal Hospital. We are welcoming an experienced Veterinary Technician to our team. Our hospital is under new, private ownership. We are excited to elevate pet care for the Pensacola community and invest in the professional development of our team. Bring your veterinary experience , communication skills , and positive attitude to Ferry Pass and join us on this new journey. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assist veterinarians with physical examinations and procedures Administer medications, fluids, anesthetics, analgesics, and blood products as directed by veterinarians Hospitalized and post-op patient monitoring Bandage application/removal, suture removal, ear cleaning, nail trimming, anal gland expression Decipher vaccination history and preventive care needs for all pets Maintain veterinary medical records for pets coming in for daily appointments, including scribing for the veterinarians.
