Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician with hands-on experience in wellness care, surgery, dentistry, critical care, diagnostics, and treatment. This is an opportunity to fully use your technical skills in a calm, cat-focused environment while continuing to learn and helping others grow. Leadership opportunities are available. Our clinic is equipped with the tools you need to provide exceptional care, including ultrasound, digital dental and full-body radiography, cold laser therapy, SediVue, an incubator, SunTech Vet40 monitors, in-line fluid warmers, IDEXX chemistry and hematology analyzers, and more. Through our Spectrum of Care approach, grants, and tiered fee schedules based on financial need, we are able to make care more accessible and help cats when they need us most. Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Veterinary Technician.
- Competent in veterinary critical care, surgery and dentistry practices.
- Experience with laboratory procedures and diagnostics.
- Skills in Fear Free handling techniques or willing to learn
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with cat owners and team members.
- A genuine love for cats and a commitment to their well-being.
- Experience in a shelter environment, Shelterluv or Avimark a plus.
