Veterinary Technician

Bevis Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our team in Tallahassee, FL.

Position Summary:

The Veterinary Technician is responsible for assisting the Veterinarian and other staff with patient care, surgical procedures, and other tasks related to the care of animals.

Requirements:

Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Must be comfortable working with animals. Must be comfortable using a computer. Must be comfortable with technology in general. Must be comfortable with noise and heat Ability to work in all weather conditions. Must be able to perform general duties of the facility including but not limited to: cleaning, sterilization, grooming, handling of animals, sterilization of animal equipment, cleaning cages, sanitizing surfaces, and assisting the Veterinarian as needed. Must have strong communication skills and demonstrate a professional demeanor in all interactions interactions with patients, clients, visitors, co-workers, management, and residents. Must have strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Must maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
