  • Part-time, Full-time Experienced Veterinary Technician Wanted We are seeking a skilled, dependable Veterinary Technician to join our clinical team and provide high-quality patient care in a veterinary hospital.
This position is best suited for candidates with proven hands-on veterinary technician skills who are comfortable performing technical procedures, anesthesia monitoring, patient care, and client communication with a high degree of independence . This is not an entry-level training role . Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate clinical and technical competency appropriate to their experience level during the hiring process. Responsibilities Clinical & Nursing Care Monitor hospitalized patients Perform patient triage Obtain medical histories Place IV catheters and maintain fluid therapy Administer medications and treatments Assist with emergency and critical care cases Surgery & Anesthesia Prepare anesthesia equipment Monitor anesthesia during procedures Assist with surgical procedures Recover and monitor surgical patients Provide post-operative care Diagnostics & Laboratory Work Take diagnostic and dental radiographs Collect blood, urine, and fecal samples Perform laboratory testing Prepare laboratory samples for outside reference labs Client Education & Communication Review discharge instructions with clients Educate clients on medications and home care Support client understanding of treatment plans and preventive care Team Support Work closely with veterinarians and veterinary assistants Support efficient workflow and patient care standards Help mentor and guide less experienced team members Qualifications Required Previous veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience Demonstrated technical veterinary skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively Preferred
CVT / RVT / LVT
Technical Skills Experience with: Venipuncture IV catheter placement Anesthesia monitoring Dental procedures Digital radiography Laboratory diagnostics Electronic medical records Surgical assistance Hospitalized patient care Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to stand and move throughout shifts Comfortable working with animals of varying sizes and temperaments Schedule & Benefits Full-time and part-time opportunities available Supportive team environment Employee pet care discounts may be available Opportunities for continued professional growth
