Ambulatory Technician (Equine Veterinary Practice)

Wellington FL Job Type:
Full-Time We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Ambulatory Technician to join our busy equine veterinary practice. This position is ideal for a motivated professional who enjoys working in the field and is committed to providing excellent client service.
Requirements:
  • Highly skilled horse handler
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an ambulatory technician for an equine veterinarian, preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Professional and timely communication with clients
  • Maintain organization and stocking of the doctor's truck and equipment
  • Assist with invoicing and billing processes
  • Ability to submit bloodwork to laboratories

HVMS Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the veterinarian during ambulatory farm calls including assistance with procedures, radiographs, and therapeutic modalities.
  • Prepare and maintain medical equipment and supplies
  • Ensure vehicle inventory is organized and fully stocked
  • Submit lab samples and manage related documentation
  • Support administrative and billing tasks
