Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our animal patients. This position requires expertise in various veterinary procedures and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist veterinarians in examinations, surgeries, and other medical procedures
  • Perform laboratory tests and analyze results
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians
  • Take and develop X-rays
  • Handle dogs and cats with care and compassion
  • Provide animal care, including feeding, bathing, and grooming
  • Monitor animal vital signs during procedures and recovery
  • Maintain accurate medical records
  • Educate pet owners on proper animal care and medication administration
  • Assist with animal restraint when necessary
Skills:
  • Proficiency in X-ray techniques and equipment operation
  • Strong dog handling skills, ensuring their safety and comfort during procedures
  • Knowledge of animal care practices, including nutrition, hygiene, and exercise
  • Understanding of animal physiology and common veterinary medical conditions
  • Experience as a Veterinary Technician or similar role preferred
  • Familiarity with animal husbandry techniques
  • Ability to perform animal catheterization when needed
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately We offer competitive pay based on experience.
