Job Description

Experienced Veterinary Technician Lead needed for two doctor practice in the Cumming/Gainesville area. The ideal candidate will possess good communication skills, be energetic, motivated and a team player. The candidate must also demonstrate the ability to build positive, professional relationships with staff members and compassionate communication and care with patients and clients. Must be reliable and dependable.
Some responsibilities include:
Must be loving and kind to animals. Working knowledge of patient care. Knowledge of proper medical terminology. Ability to multi task. Ability to act with accuracy and minimal direction. Educate clients about pet care plans, preventive care, pet health needs, hospital services, diet. Utilize safe restraining techniques. Follow protocol for maintenance of clean, sterile and organized treatment areas, exam rooms and labs. Must be available to work evenings and Saturdays. Closed Sundays and holidays.
