Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for animal care and welfare, along with the technical skills necessary to support veterinarians in providing high-quality medical care. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in the health and well-being of our animal patients, working closely with both the veterinary team and pet owners. Duties Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures. Perform diagnostic tests including X-rays and laboratory work. Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed. Monitor animal patients pre- and post-operatively. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient. Provide education to pet owners regarding animal care, nutrition, and preventive health measures. Handle dogs and other animals safely and effectively during examinations or procedures. Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure a sterile environment during surgeries. Assist with dental cleanings and procedures, understanding dental terminology relevant to veterinary practice. Conduct routine grooming tasks as needed to maintain the hygiene of animal patients. Work together with team. Qualifications Strong knowledge of animal physiology, anatomy, and behavior. Experience with animal catheterization techniques is a plus. Proficiency in laboratory procedures relevant to veterinary medicine. Familiarity with pet grooming practices is advantageous. Excellent communication skills for interacting with pet owners and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
