With a deep passion for pets and a commitment to exceptional care, we offer daycare, boarding, grooming, training, and wellness services tailored to each dog's needs. As we expand our wellness services, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our dedicated team.
Position Summary:
The Veterinary Technician plays a vital role in supporting our wellness program by assisting veterinarians, ensuring high standards of animal care, and maintaining accurate medical records. This is a hands-on, onsite role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dog-loving environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the veterinarian with routine exams, vaccinations, diagnostics, and minor procedures Monitor animal health and behavior during boarding or daycare stays Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records for all animals Educate pet parents on follow-up care, medications, and preventative health Support the team with sanitation, inventory management, and safety protocols
Requirements:
Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology or related field preferred Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or equivalent experience strongly preferred 1+ years of experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care facility Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills Passionate about animal welfare and client education
