As a Veterinary Technician Team Lead, you'll partner closely with the Business Partner and Partner DVM to support clinical excellence, team development, and seamless operations within the Pet Care Center. Our Benefits We care deeply for our team, and it shows in our benefits: Generous PTO to support rest and personal time Paid Holidays with no on-call or overnight shifts Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance with multiple plans and generous employer contributions Life & Disability Insurance for added peace of mind 401(k) with employer match to support your long-term financial goals Continuing Education Support, for licensed individuals, with annual stipends and paid time off to help you grow your skills and stay at the top of your field Fear Free Certification at no cost to you Figs Scrubs are provided so you feel confident and comfortable Employee Discounts on Petfolk services, food, and medications for your pets What You'll Do as a Veterinary Technician Team Lead Clinical Leadership & Patient Care Assisting in surgeries, dental procedures, and anesthesia monitoring Performing venipuncture, IV catheter placement and lab diagnostics Educating pet parents with compassion and clarity Ensuring accurate medical documentation and patient histories Promoting low-stress and Fear-Free techniques in every interaction Mentoring Assistants and Technicians while fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence Team & Operational Leadership Support scheduling and time management Participate in daily leadership huddles Provide coaching and mentorship to teammates Oversee inventory counts and ordering within budgetary guidelines Maintain controlled drug compliance and regulatory standards including OSHA and DEA requirements Oversee maintenance of equipment and troubleshoot concerns Client Experience & Education Educate pet parents on preventative & urgent care, medications, nutrition, and treatment plans Support promotion of services including dental cleanings, senior wellness, and spay/neuter procedures Deliver exceptional communication and compassionate care at every interaction What We're Looking For 5+ years hands-on experience in veterinary clinical care Previous experience leading teams in a clinical environment Comfortable with venipuncture, surgical/dental assistance, and exams Advocate for Fear Free, low-stress handling techniques Tech-savvy, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills and a strong team player Passionate about continual learning and professional growth Loves working with both pets and people Ready to Join the Revolution in Pet Care?
