Compensation:

$140,000 - $180,000

Responsibilities:

Converse with clients, expert witnesses, supporting witnesses, insurance company adjusters, and medical providers to gather information Settle on the clients' behalf when appropriate and negotiate reasonable agreements Evaluate potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients accordingly Supervise and delegate tasks to the team of legal assistants, personal injury paralegals, case managers, litigation paralegals, and legal secretary Gather insurance policies, medical expenses, medical records, and other evidence relevant to the case, and conduct legal research on case law and premises liability Handle a full caseload of personal injury matters, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and catastrophic injury cases Conduct client consultations, evaluate claims, and develop case strategies Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and settlement demands Negotiate effectively with insurance adjusters and opposing counsel Represent clients in depositions, mediations, hearings, and court proceedings Maintain detailed case documentation and ensure compliance with firm processes Collaborate with paralegals, case managers, and support staff to drive case progress

Qualifications:

Membership in the State Bar Association and a state license to practice law is mandatory Computer proficiency is essential A minimum of 3 years of personal injury litigation or trial experience in medical malpractice, wrongful death, personal injury, or civil litigation practice areas is necessary Requires a bachelor's degree and a J.D. degree Superior research, negotiation, drafting, and communication skills are highly valued Active license to practice law in the state of Georgia (required) Strong deposition, motion‑practice, and courtroom advocacy skills Excellent legal writing, analytical, and negotiation abilities Ability to manage multiple cases with discipline, organization, and attention to detail Client‑focused mindset with excellent communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Self‑motivated, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of litigation strategy About Company We are a small but fast-growing Personal Injury law firm headquartered in Atlanta.
