Job Description
About us Animal Medical Hospital is seeking a full time veterinary technician for a four doctor practice in Mason City, Iowa. We are a growing, progressive small animal and exotic practice with digital full body and dental radiography, therapy and surgical lasers, and in-house bloodwork equipment. An ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of animal and medicine and a interest in continued learning. We are especially interested in those who are passionate about veterinary care and committed to providing the best possible service to all of our clients. New veterinary technician grads are welcome to apply! Pay is commensurate on experience and negotiable.
- Providing general veterinary care
- Drawing blood samples for testing
- Communicating with pet owners
- Monitoring animals under anesthesia
- Administering medication and treatments
- Scheduling exams and rechecks as needed Veterinary technician skills and qualifications:

- Physical stamina
- Knowledge of a variety of animal species
