We care about our team just as much as our patients! At All Pets Animal Clinic, we believe in a healthy work-life balance and provide a relaxed atmosphere. We also offer a unique production payment model and bonus structure that allows you to earn $2-6/hr additional pay on top of a generous hourly wage! Responsibilities Assist the veterinarian during examinations, surgeries, and diagnostic procedures by preparing equipment and monitoring patient status Perform animal restraint and handling to ensure safety for both animals and staff during treatments and examinations Conduct laboratory tests, prepare samples, and interpret basic results to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning Maintain aseptic techniques during procedures such as animal catheterization, wound management, and sample collection Support dental procedures by understanding dental terminology, assisting with cleaning, polishing, and radiography Manage pet care routines including grooming, feeding, and administering medications as directed Operate diagnostic imaging equipment such as X-ray machines to assist in accurate diagnosis Maintain detailed medical records, update patient charts with treatment notes, and ensure compliance with veterinary protocols Experience Prior veterinary experience or hands-on animal care experience preferred Knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal anatomy essential for effective communication and treatment support Experience with veterinary critical care scenarios enhances your ability to respond swiftly in emergency situations Laboratory experience including sample collection and analysis is highly desirable Demonstrated proficiency in dog and cat low restraint and fear free handling techniques is highly desirable Familiarity with X-ray operation and techniques Previous veterinary technician experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated new graduates to the field or those pending final certification Join a rewarding career where your passion for animals meets energetic teamwork!
