Our ideal candidate:
Previous veterinary experience in a nursing role, surgical skills required Commitment to continued educational development and growth. Must have active listening, critical thinking, complex problem solving, time management, judgment and decision-making skills. Professional and friendly demeanor with staff and clients
Responsibilities:
Perform venipuncture for phlebotomy and catheter placement Obtain laboratory sample collection Perform diagnostic imaging Anesthesia Monitoring Administer vaccines and medications Fill prescriptions Communicate with and educate clients Maintain a clean and sanitized environment Other duties as assigned by supervisor We invest heavily in our employees with many opportunities for growth and development!
