Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our compassionate veterinary team. Candidate will be cross trained for veterinary technician and client service representative. This energetic role involves providing high-quality patient care, assisting veterinarian, and supporting pet owners. The ideal candidate will have experience in both veterinary technician roles and reception, be a self starter and able to assist where needed. Responsibilities Assist veterinarians with clinical procedures, including animal restraint, catheterization, and laboratory testing. Perform dental cleanings, utilizing dental terminology and aseptic techniques to ensure optimal oral health. Handle animals safely using proper animal handling and restraint techniques. Operate diagnostic equipment such as X-ray machines, ensuring accurate imaging while maintaining safety protocols. Maintain detailed records of animal physiology, anatomy, and medical histories in compliance with veterinary standards. Contribute to laboratory work such as sample collection, analysis, and processing to assist in diagnostics. Client Service Representative including client care, appointment scheduling, prescription requests and various office duties. Qualifications Valid certification as a Veterinary Technician. Proven experience with kennel management and animal care procedures. Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, and physiology. Experience with veterinary critical care procedures and laboratory techniques. Skilled in dog handling, animal restraint, and aseptic techniques. Familiarity with dental terminology and performing dental procedures. Ability to operate X-ray equipment safely and effectively. Client service/front desk experience. Schedule Monday 7am-7pm Tuesday 7am-7pm Wednesday 9am-5pm Friday 8am-4pm
Pay:
