Primary responsibilities include:
Patient handling/restraint Venipuncture IV catheter placement Digital Radiology/positioning In house lab testing (Idexx) Surgical preparation, including drug calculations Anesthetic induction and monitoring Patient recovery and release Dental prophylaxis Basic computer skills Strong communication with the team and clients Experience with Idexx Cornerstone a plus Our Veterinary Technicians play an integral role in providing excellent care to our patients and customer service to our clients.
