Job Description

Minimum 1 year of experience in a veterinary technician role required. Our staff enjoys an excellent schedule that accommodates a healthy work/life balance. We are a well established four doctor practice with exceptional clientele and have an outstanding employee retention rate. Our staff is dedicated, compassionate and hard working.

  • negotiable: Monday 7:45
  • 12:00, 1:00
  • 5:00.
Tuesday 7:45-12:00. Wednesday off. Thursday 7:45-12:00. Friday 7:45-12:00. Friday 1:00-5:00 (1-2 times per month). Saturday 7:45-12:00 (1-2 times per month). No late nights. Must be available Saturday mornings. Cross training as a veterinary receptionist considered for right candidate. Potential future opportunity for full-time position with insurance benefits. Salary is negotiable and based on experience.
Education :
High school or equivalent (required). Responsibilities of a veterinary technician include: Monitoring animals under anesthesia. Surgical prep. Cold laser therapy. Animal handling. Nursing care. Dentistry. Microscopy. Operating laboratory machines. Equipment maintenance. Cleaning. Taking radiographs. Drawing blood. Administering medication and treatments. Medical record documentation. Client communication and education.
