Job Description
Certified Veterinary Technician Prairie Animal Hospital is looking for a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) to join our growing team! We are a fast-paced, team-oriented practice that values high-quality patient care, a positive work environment, and a healthy work-life balance. We are only seeking certified veterinary technicians who are passionate about their role and eager to fully utilize their skills—this is not an assistant position. What We're Looking For We're searching for someone who: Is a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) (required) Has a positive attitude and enjoys working in a collaborative team Brings energy, humor, and compassion to the workplace Contributes to a supportive culture Is motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented Communicates clearly with both clients and team members Key Responsibilities Patient care, including restraint, monitoring, and recovery Anesthesia monitoring and surgical support Performing laboratory testing and diagnostics Taking radiographs (X-rays) Administering medications and treatments Client education and communication Maintaining accurate medical records
