Job Description

Job Overview The Camp Supervisor will ensure the safety of Campers/dogs, deliver a quality customer experience, and manage the Counselor Team's productivity. Reporting to and assisting the Camp Manager with team scheduling based on Camp demand and activities, as well as the identification and confirmation of shift work required. Responsibilities Create & instill the "Camp Bow Wow" experience through maintaining a clean facility and quality customer service Support and supervise hourly staff as a "hands-on supervisor" promoting teamwork and fun, since we do get to take care of families fur babies Oversee that daily shift tasks (yard, feeding, medications, services) are completed by team and confirmed for proper quality Oversee animal handling, restraint, grooming, and feeding routines to promote health and well-being Train team members in dog safety techniques, proper pet care procedures, and sanitization methods Monitor the health status of animals, collaborating with veterinary professionals for medical needs and emergencies Maintain accurate records of animal intake, discharge, treatments, and behavioral observations Ensure preparation for next day/shift paperwork, services & interviews Support customer service efforts by assisting pet owners with questions about pet care, grooming services, or reservation requests Requirements Management or supervisory experience Referenceable experience in animal handling, pet care, or kennel management Excellent communication skills to effectively lead and train a team, and interact with pet owners in a friendly manner Comfortable walking and/or standing a full shift Must demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently Reliable transportation Able to work varying shift(s) per week during Camp hours of 6:30am to 7:00pm. Camp is open 7 days a week, so weekends and holidays will periodically be required. Be a part of our team in creating and sustaining the areas premier dog care center!
