We offer routine medical, surgical, and dental services, along with urgent care during business hours for dogs and cats. We also have the unique opportunity to occasionally work with exotic pets through our Petsmart partnership. Our mission is to improve the lives of pets and the families who care for them by building trusted relationships and fostering a supportive, collaborative workplace where veterinary professionals can grow and thrive. What You'll Do As an RVT, you will play a central role in patient care, anesthesia, dentistry, and client communication. This is a hands-on, high-impact position for someone who wants to fully utilize their technical skills. Patient Care & Advanced Nursing Perform patient assessments and obtain vital signs (TPR) Safely handle and restrain pets, including fearful or aggressive animals Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care Monitor patients before, during, and after anesthesia and surgery Perform intubation, extubation, and IV catheter placement Assist with wound care and bandaging Anesthesia, Dentistry & Procedures Independently monitor anesthesia and respond to changes in patient status Perform dental prophylaxis and full-mouth dental radiographs Assist in surgical procedures with a strong focus on patient safety and efficiency Medical & Technical Skills Administer medications and treatments accurately Calculate drug dosages and recognize adverse reactions Perform laboratory diagnostics (hematology, urinalysis, cytology basics) Assist with diagnostic imaging and proper positioning Conduct technician appointments Client Communication & Front Desk Support Obtain thorough medical histories and communicate findings clearly Educate clients on treatment plans, diagnostics, and aftercare Assist with answering phones and scheduling appointments as needed Perform follow-up calls to support patient care and client understanding Provide clear, empathetic, and professional communication at all times Hospital Operations & Leadership Maintain accurate medical records and anesthesia logs Manage controlled drug logs and pharmacy records Monitor inventory and restock supplies Maintain a clean, organized hospital environment Support and guide veterinary assistants in daily workflow Follow OSHA safety protocols and proper PPE use Assist with AAHA-level standards and clinic development What We're Looking For Strong technical and clinical skills Excellent communication and multitasking abilities Calm, compassionate, and reliable under pressure Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude Passion for high-quality patient care and client education Preferred Candidate 3+ years of experience as an RVT Experience in urgent care or emergency settings Strong dentistry skills and confidence with dental radiographs Requirements Current veterinary technician license (RVT/LVT/CVT) in good standing Ability to lift 40 lbs unassisted Ability to stand for extended periods (8+ hours) Comfortable working with animals of varying temperaments, including fearful or aggressive patients Comfortable working with occasional exotic and pocket pets Ability to work in an environment with exposure to animal dander, chemicals, and bodily fluids Successful completion of a background check Commitment to completing the Vetgirl course within the first year of employment What We Offer Competitive pay: $22
