We are a 4 doctor, companion animal practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our animal patients while assisting veterinarians in various procedures. This position requires a strong commitment to servant leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for an individual who will be dedicated to living and serving our mission of providing comprehensive care to patients and their families. Duties Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of animals. Perform routine laboratory tests, including blood work and urinalysis. Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian. Maintain accurate medical records for each animal patient.. Utilize fear free animal restraint techniques to ensure safety for both staff and animals. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including kennels and examination rooms. Educate pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and other standards of care. Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in veterinary practices. Experience Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician or in an animal care setting is preferred but not mandatory.
