Job Description

Overview Join our veterinary team as a Veterinary Technician/Nurse and become a vital part of providing exceptional animal care! This role is perfect for passionate animal lovers eager to make a difference in the lives of pets and their owners. As a Veterinary Technician/Nurse, you will support veterinarians with clinical procedures, assist in patient care, and ensure a safe, clean, and compassionate environment for all animals. Your expertise will help deliver top-tier veterinary services while gaining valuable experience across various specialties. Duties Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and diagnostic procedures using veterinary terminology and aseptic techniques. Perform animal restraint and handling, ensuring safety for both animals and staff during treatments or examinations. Conduct laboratory tests, prepare samples, and operate X-ray equipment to aid in accurate diagnoses. Maintain detailed records of treatments, laboratory results, and patient progress in compliance with veterinary standards. Qualifications Proven kennel experience combined with veterinary technician experience or similar animal handling roles. Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal physiology, anatomy, and pet care practices. Familiarity with laboratory procedures, X-ray operation, and aseptic techniques essential for diagnostic support. Ability to handle diverse animals including dogs and cats with confidence and professionalism. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively within a veterinary team.
Pay:
$19.00 - $22.00 per hour
