Veterinary Technician

Animal Doctor Veterinary Group is seeking a licensed or experienced veterinary technician/assistant to join our team.

We have two locations:

Animal Doctor Westside in Manhattan, KS, and Animal Doctor in Junction City, KS. Both locations are currently hiring for full time positions.

Both locations are equipped with:

ultrasound, digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, and Zoetis in-house lab equipment (including two Imagyst AI microscopes, CBC, blood chemistry, and UA), all integrated to our EMR. There are computers in each of the exam rooms and in surgery. We use cloud-based Shepherd veterinary software. Both locations offer a full range of medical, surgical, and preventative care. Our Junction City location also has a professional groomer, and our Westside location is Fear Free Certified. Duties would include, but not limited to, preventative pet care, restraint, blood collection, performing testing on laboratory samples, communication with clients, and fear free certification if at the Westside location (we can provide the training). The work schedule is four weekdays with one fixed day off per week, and rotating Saturdays (half day), typically two per month.
