Our kennel team is dedicated to the care and comfort of our patients while maintaining a clean and safe environment for pets, clients, and staff. In this role, you will focus on patient husbandry and care as well as general housekeeping duties throughout the hospital. You will provide meals and walks to boarding patients, administer medication, and monitor for any medical or behavioral concerns while providing detailed documentation about your observations. You will ensure kennels, common spaces, and treatment areas are sanitized and well stocked with supplies. This is a Part-Time position, with flexible scheduling options, and availability needed Monday-Friday and rotating weekends. Part-Time Benefits •

Responsibilities :
Provide attentive care to boarding dogs and cats Feed, walk, and monitor pets for health and behavior changes Clean kennels and hospital areas as needed Check boarding clients in and out
Minimum Qualifications & Skillset:
1+ years of experience as a veterinary kennel assistant / kennel technician preferred Will consider related experience within animal care such as boarding / doggy daycare attendant, FFA or 4H background Must be a self-starter who can work independently Punctual and reliable Desire for knowledge & growth in the veterinary field Willing to work holidays and weekends Excellent communication & customer service skills At FMA Animal Hospital , our mission is to deliver high-quality, compassionate, and personalized veterinary care to every patient and pet parent.
