Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our animal care team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing high-quality medical care for animals under the supervision of a licensed veterinarian.
Duties:
  • Perform animal handling and restraint during examinations and procedures
  • Assist in surgical procedures, including preparation, monitoring, and post-operative care
  • Conduct laboratory tests such as blood work, urinalysis, and fecal examinations
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure proper documentation of patient information
  • Educate pet owners on animal care and treatment plans
Skills:
  • Proficiency in animal husbandry practices
  • Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures
  • Experience with animal catheterization and aseptic techniques
  • Familiarity with animal physiology and laboratory equipment
  • Ability to handle dogs and cats safely and effectively
