This position plays an essential role in ensuring our clients receive exceptional service while supporting our veterinarians through efficient front office operations and accurate Coggins laboratory processing. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, have excellent organizational skills, and are looking for a career in equine veterinary medicine, we'd love to hear from you. Responsibilities Greet clients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner Answer and direct incoming phone calls Schedule appointments and manage the daily appointment calendar Check clients in and out and process payments Maintain accurate patient records using veterinary practice software Prepare, process, and submit Coggins tests while maintaining strict attention to detail Maintain Coggins laboratory inventory and supplies Scan, file, and organize medical records and laboratory documents Communicate professionally with clients, laboratories, and veterinary staff Assist with additional administrative duties as assigned Qualifications Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Dependable with a positive, team-oriented attitude Comfortable learning new computer software and technology Veterinary, medical office, or laboratory experience is preferred but not required Equine knowledge is a plus but not required What We Offer Full-time, year-round employment Paid Training for Laboratory Testing IRA Plan Paid time off and paid holidays Opportunities for professional growth and development A supportive team environment dedicated to providing exceptional equine veterinary care Education High school diploma or equivalent required.
