Job Description

The South Deerfield Veterinary Clinic is now seeking a full time or part time Experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team! We are a small, low drama team who enjoys working with each other. The applicant will divide their time between assisting doctors with physical examinations in rooms, restraining animals, inputting data into medical records, dispensing medications, cleaning, assisting with treatments/surgeries/dentals and monitoring anesthesia. Candidates must have the ability to work cooperatively with co-workers, demonstrate respect for all animals and humans, use common sense and be dependable. Compensation is negotiated based on experience and credentials. You've worked hard for your credentialing and want you to use your knowledge that you've invested your time and talent in. The skills that you will be utilizing include, but not limited to: Venipuncture, Catheter Placement, Digital Radiology, Anesthesia Monitoring, Surgical Preparation and Assisting, Dentistry, In House Laboratory Work, Compassionate care for our hospitalized patients.
