Position Summary The Credentialed Veterinary Technician is central to delivering high-quality urgent care to our patients. You'll work directly with our veterinarians to triage, treat, and stabilize patients in a fast-paced urgent care environment. You'll help ensure every patient receives attentive, high-quality care in a modern, well-equipped facility with efficient workflows designed specifically for urgent care from day one. What We're Looking For A technician who leads with kindness, patience, and understanding Excellent communication and teamwork skills Strong attention to detail and clinical competency Ability to balance medical precision with emotional sensitivity A professional who treats every patient as if they were their own Key Responsibilities Perform triage and obtain patient histories to prioritize care based on urgency Administer medications, fluids, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian Place IV catheters, run diagnostics, and monitor anesthesia when needed Collect and process laboratory samples; operate in-house diagnostic equipment Assist with radiology, ultrasound procedures, and minor surgical procedures Maintain accurate, timely medical records in the practice management system Educate and communicate with clients in a clear, empathetic, and supportive manner Help maintain a clean and organized hospital, and efficient workflow Mentor Veterinary Assistants and support a collaborative team environment Qualifications Current credential as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, RVT, or equivalent) in good standing Some weekend availability is required Experience in emergency, urgent care, or general practice preferred Strong skills in restraint ,venipuncture, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, and basic treatment procedures Calm, clear communicator with genuine compassion for animals and the people who love them Ability to work in a fast-paced, urgent/emergent care setting while maintaining grace under pressure Strong teamwork and communication skills Dependable and detail-oriented Computer proficiency What We Offer Full-time benefits eligibility begins at 32 hours/week. Allowance License Reimbursement Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
