Veterinary Technician, Emergency & ICU | $24-$30/hr + $5/hour Overnight Shift Differential | Full-Time Benefits | Four 9-Hour Evening Shifts | Lawrence, MA Bulger Veterinary Hospital is hiring a Veterinary Technician to join our growing Emergency & Critical Care team in Lawrence, Massachusetts. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Veterinary Technician looking to grow their emergency and critical care experience in a fast-paced, collaborative specialty hospital. You'll work alongside experienced DVMs, specialists, and technicians while making a direct impact on patient care every shift. Compensation $24-$30/hour based on skills and experience Overnight shift differential: +$5/hour for hours worked between 11:00 PM-6:00
AM Schedule Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday:

CVT/LVT/RVT
license reimbursement VTS financial support and onsite mentorship Responsibilities As an Emergency & Critical Care Veterinary Technician, you will: Triage emergency patients and support the intake process Guide clients through their pet's treatment and care plan Collaborate closely with DVMs on diagnostics, treatments, and procedures Perform anesthesia monitoring and patient recovery care Place IV catheters and collect laboratory samples Assist with radiographs, imaging, surgeries, and emergency procedures Monitor hospitalized patients and communicate changes in condition Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation Deliver exceptional patient care and client service in a fast-paced emergency setting Qualifications 3+ years of experience in a veterinary clinical setting required CVT, LVT, or RVT preferred, but not required Strong anesthesia and patient monitoring skills Emergency or critical care experience preferred Confidence with catheter placement, laboratory work, and technical nursing skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented hospital environment Strong communication skills and commitment to exceptional patient care Fluent English speaking and reading skills required About Bulger Veterinary Hospital Bulger Veterinary Hospital is a large multi-specialty and emergency veterinary hospital serving patients throughout Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire.
