Qualifications:

Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) preferred (experienced non-certified technicians may be considered based on skill level) Previous veterinary technician experience required Urgent care and/or emergency experience preferred but not required Strong technical and patient care skills Excellent communication and client education abilities Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team Interest in mentoring and supporting newer technicians Desired Skills & Experience Advanced phlebotomy and IV catheter placement Cystocentesis Surgical and dental assistance Anesthesia induction and monitoring Emergency triage and patient stabilization Radiology positioning and diagnostic sample collection Medication calculations and pharmacology knowledge Client communication and education OSHA and DEA compliance knowledge Inventory management and hospital organization Leadership, initiative, and teamwork This role works closely with hospital leadership, veterinarians, and fellow technicians to help build and maintain an efficient, supportive, and medically progressive environment for both patients and staff.
