ABOUT THE ROLE
As our Veterinary Technician, you'll be the backbone of our small animal hospital's clinical care — supporting our veterinarians, comforting our patients, and ensuring every client interaction reflects the gold standard of service we're known for. This is a hands-on role with real impact: on our patients, our clients, and our team culture.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Champion an outstanding client experience at every touchpoint — from first call to follow-up Assist veterinarians with exams, procedures, and treatments with skill and compassion Perform patient restraint, handling, and monitoring during appointments and procedures Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed Collect samples and run in-house diagnostic tests (bloodwork, urinalysis, fecal exams, etc.) Place catheters, draw blood, and assist with anesthesia monitoring and recovery Prepare and maintain surgical suites, instruments, and treatment areas Maintain accurate, detailed patient records and communicate updates clearly to the team Educate clients on home care, medications, and preventive health Maintain compliance with all regulatory, safety, and hospital standards Foster a positive, collaborative team culture rooted in compassion and accountability
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
✅ Required Demonstrated experience as a veterinary technician or veterinary assistant Exemplary client service skills — you turn first-time visitors into lifelong advocates Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a high-volume environment Comfort and confidence handling animals of varying temperaments Proficiency with practice management software and standard office tools ⭐ Preferred Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT/LVT) Experience in a small animal hospital or multi-doctor practice Phlebotomy, catheter placement, and anesthesia monitoring experience Experience with in-house diagnostic and lab equipment

$20.00 - $26.00 per hour
