Job Description
Description Veterinary Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Group is looking for a Full-Time Registered Veterinary Technician to join our advanced orthopedic and sports medicine team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Annapolis Junction, MD . About You You'll play an important role in helping patients regain mobility, recover from injury, and return to the activities they love. Your impact will span every stage of care, from supporting advanced orthopedic, sports medicine and rehabilitation cases to providing skilled nursing care, client education, diagnostic support and exceptional patient advocacy throughout the treatment journey. - Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care)
CVT/RVT/LVT
(active and current) Required- Superior/advanced technical skills including venipuncture, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring and patient nursing care
- Previous experience in a veterinary specialty surgical, emergency, rehabilitation or advanced general practice medicine preferred
- Has strong interest in orthopedics, sports medicine, rehabilitation, and mobility-focused patient care
- Possesses a positive work attitude
- Self-motivated
