Our successful surgery clinic is looking for full-time or part-time Veterinary Technician to join our practice! Shore Pet Surgery has been offering low cost, high quality surgical services to the community since 2008. We are seeking an individual who is upbeat, self motivated, team oriented and does well working in a fast paced environment. Veterinary Technician responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assisting our Veterinarians Utilize proper animal restraint Administering injections Placing IV catheters Monitor patients (pre-operative and post-operative) Cleaning and sterilization of surgical packs Blood draws Prepare medications Provide high quality customer service Maintain cleanliness of our hospital Communicate with owner's regarding their animals •This position is physically demanding requiring applicants to stand for long periods of time and repeatedly lift up to 50lbs•
