Job Description

Still looking for that work-life balance that everyone promises? Since we opened our doors back in 2002, the emotional and physical well being of our staff is very important to us. We believe a happy staff creates happy clients and patients. It's a win-win! Northern Veterinary Associates is looking to add another stellar licensed veterinary technician to our team. They will be able to live and play where others can only escape on vacations. Our three-doctor, companion animal practice is nestled among the rivers, lakes, and forests of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We are located 12 miles West of Marquette, near Lake Superior. We are seeking a caring and compassionate LVT for a full time position. Come practice with a veterinary team dedicated to serving our clients and patients with high quality medicine in a small-town atmosphere. We firmly believe private practice offers the best professional life for veterinarians and LVT's. We all work together as a team. Unlike corporate medicine, there are no demands for excessive production goals, and we allow the DVM-LVT team to use their knowledge and skills to formulate a plan. We value our LVT's, and try to utilize each one to the best of their abilities. We identify their interests and strengths, and work with them to put their talents to work for our clients and patients. Our LVT's work very closely with a doctor for most of the day, but we also allow them to spend time doing outpatient services on their own with the full support of the doctor. For more information, contact Dr. Scott Jandron at Northern Veterinary Associates, 661 Palms Avenue, Ishpeming, MI 49849.
