The Role We're seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) who wants more than a job—you want a career where your expertise is valued, your voice matters, and your skills can grow. At Omnivet, technicians are not just "helpers." You are the medical backbone of the hospital, directly shaping outcomes for patients and experiences for clients. What You'll Do Lead patient care with skill and compassion—triage, monitoring, treatments, and recovery. Support doctors in surgery, anesthesia, diagnostics, and advanced procedures. Collect medical histories and guide pet parents through treatment plans. Perform radiology, lab work, and in-house diagnostics with precision. Mentor veterinary assistants, and veterinary technician students and model best practices in patient handling. Be a calm, confident presence in urgent moments, helping both pets and people. Partner with the client care team to ensure seamless communication from intake to discharge.
What We're Looking For Credentials:
Licensed or license-eligible Veterinary Technician in Michigan.
Experience:
1+ years in a clinical setting preferred (new grads welcome—we will support you!).
Strengths:
Proficient in anesthesia, surgery, radiology, diagnostics, and patient triage.
