The Role We're looking for a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) who is passionate about surgery, anesthesia, patient advocacy, and continuous learning. This is a hands-on role where your skills directly impact patient outcomes and client experience. What You'll Do Provide high-quality patient care including preparing patients for surgery, monitoring, and recovery Calculate and administer anesthetic and perioperative medications Monitor vital parameters and respond appropriately to changes in patient status Assist veterinarians during surgical procedures Educate clients regarding surgical procedures and post-operative care Support and mentor assistants and students Maintain a calm, confident presence in urgent situations Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless patient care What We're Looking For Licensed (or license-eligible) Veterinary Technician in Michigan 1+ year of clinical and surgical experience preferred Strong skills in anesthesia, surgery, radiology, and patient care Team-oriented with a positive, adaptable mindset Passion for animal care and client communication Why Work at Omnivet?
