Licensed Veterinary Technician Our privately owned small-animal practice (dogs and cats only) is looking for a
LICENSED
Veterinary Technician to join our team. We're a fun, close-knit group that genuinely loves what we do — and we're looking for someone who enjoys working with both pets and the people who love them. Our technicians run their own appointments, so you'll have real ownership over your caseload. Responsibilities Assist veterinarians during exams and surgical procedures Perform lab tests and diagnostic imaging, including X-rays Administer medications and vaccinations as prescribed Provide safe, low-stress animal restraint Maintain accurate medical records and documentation Educate pet owners on nutrition, care, and training Maintain a clean, organized clinic and follow aseptic technique Monitor vital signs and behavior during treatment Handle patients calmly and confidently, prioritizing their comfort and safety Qualifications Must be a Licensed Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT/LVT) Solid knowledge of veterinary terminology, anatomy, and physiology Comfortable with dental procedures and terminology Experience in critical care or lab settings a plus Strong communication skills with clients and teammates Able to stay calm and effective in a fast-paced environment
