Job Description

Murphy Animal Hospital is a privately owned small-animal practice seeking a full-time Veterinary Technician to join our supportive, collaborative team. If you enjoy hands-on patient care, advanced medicine, and a workplace that respects work-life balance, we'd love to meet you. What We Offer
  • No weekends; closed Saturdays and Sundays
  • 4-day work week with one weekday off

Monday-Thursday:
8:00 AM-6:00 PM
    Friday:
    8:00 AM-5:00 PM
    • Full-time, in person Responsibilities
    • Assist veterinarians with exams, surgeries, dentistry, and procedures
    • Perform lab testing, obtain samples, place IV catheters, and administer treatments
    • Prepare patients for surgery and monitor anesthesia
    • Provide post-operative care and maintain accurate medical records
    • Educate clients on medications, preventive care, and follow-up instructions
    • Support rehabilitation therapies such as laser therapy and hydrotherapy Qualifications
    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • Previous Veterinary Technician experience required
    • Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology preferred
    • RVT, CVT, or LVT certification preferred
    • Rehabilitation experience a plus
